Part2
Describe a lake, a river or a sea you have visited,
where the lake, river or sea is/ how often you have visited it/ what activities you do there/ and explain why you like this particular place
Now, I would like to talk about a river I visited last year.
The river I've chosen is the Thames in London. Last summer, I went on holiday to England with my family. While we were there we regularly saw the River Thames, which is the main waterway that runs through the capital.
I have only been to London once but we spent two weeks there and saw the river every day. We had to cross it to get to the other side of the city from where our hotel was, but there were also a number of things to do by the river itself.
Many of London's attractions are located along the River Thames, such as the London Eye, the House of Parliament, Big Ben, and world famous art galleries like the Tate Modern. Due to the number of tourist attractions that line the Thames. Due to the number of tourist attractions that line the Thames, there is a hop-on hop-off cruise ship that goes along the river, from which tourists can see all the key sights. Thanks to that cruise option, we could visit all the attractions.
I particularly like this place because it is very beautiful and offers such a variety of interesting activities for tourists as well as residents. I will never forget the magnificent fireworks night on the River Thames and I would love to visit there again soon.
That's all from me, thank you very much for your attention!
Part3 (1/4)
What could be the consequences of deforestation?
Deforestation could lead to the extinction of certain animals since it results in the loss of habits and food sources. Another consequence of deforestation is the increase in greenhouse gases, which are released when trees are chopped down. All these outcomes could even be a threat to the survival of all human beings.
Part3 (2/4)
Do you think your government is doing enough to save endangered species? Why do you think that?
No, I don't think that the government considers saving endangered species as a priority, and therefore I don't think that they do their best. All the awareness that is raised about the need to protect endangered animals is done by charities and passionate individuals. It is time for the government to take urgent action to look after such species.
Part3 (3/4)
What can be done to stop global warming, do you think?
Global warming could be reduced if everyone took responsibility for decreasing their carbon footprint such as the amount of energy that they use in their own homes. However, to stop the problem of global warming, it is important for governments to impose laws regarding the amount of carbon dioxide produced by major greenhouse gas emitters. In addition, planting trees would be a good idea because, during photosynthesis, they absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen.
Part3 (4/4)
Do you believe that people of your age in your country live environmentally friendly lifestyles?
It very much depends on the individual. Many people of my generation recognize the importance of their role in the future of the planet and therefore make a conscious effort to be green. However, there are also many people who don't care to be eco-friendly in their day to day lives, because they believe their contribution would be so small and insignificant.
