Part1 (1/7)
Tell me something about your family?
My immediate family is quite small. My family consists of my mother, father, younger sister, and me.
Part1 (2/7)
What do you like doing most with your family?
My favorite thing to do with my family is to have dinner with them on Sunday nights. We do that together every week.
Part1 (3/7)
Who are you closest to in your family?
I'm closest to my cousin, called Eunkyung. She is three years younger than me and is very outgoing and funny.
Part1 (4/7)
How much time do you spend with your family?
I spend quite a lot of time with my family. We usually spend every evening together, eating dinner and watching television shows or playing board games.
Part1 (5/7)
In what ways is your family important to you?
In that they are always there to support to me. When I decided to go to university in the UK, they were very encouraging.
Part1 (6/7)
In what ways have families changed in the last hundred years?
In most cases. families are not as close as they used to be. Nowadays, it is normal for families to live apart from each other.
Part1 (7/7)
Should we rely heavily on our families or is it better to try to be independent?
It is better to be independent. Since you might end up being a burden if you rely too heavily on your family.

Part2
Describe a person in your family who you most admire?
what their relationship is to you/ what they have done in their life/ what they do now/ why you admire them so much

Now, I'm going to introduce someone I most admire in my family.
The person who I'm referring to is my older sister, called Taehee. I have three sisters. Two are younger than me, Jinhee and Younghee. And Taehee is the eldest.
She is a real animal lover and has done a lot of volunteer work at animal shelters as well as adopting sick animals which she has nursed back to health. I remember when we were children, she found a bird with a broken wing outside our house, on the driveway. She brought it into the house and made a nest for it in her bedroom. My lovely sister was careful to feed it every day and gently looked the bird until its wing had healed before setting it free after a couple of weeks.
Now, Taehee is studying to be a vet so that she can dedicate her life looking after animals. She is a passionate activist for animal rights.
I admire how much she cares for animals that cannot defend or speak for themselves. It is inspiring to see how passionate and considerate she is. It makes me want to be a more selfless person like she is.
That's all from me, thank you very much for your attention!

Part3 (1/4)
What characteristics do elder siblings often have?
Elder siblings are often very bossy and mature. They sometimes assume the role of being like a parent and can be very protective. I think that elder siblings often also have a hot temper if they think their younger brother or sister is being spoiled.
Part3 (2/4)
Is it better to grow up in a small family or a large extended family?
Definitely, it is better to grow up with a large extended family. This is because you have a strong support network and a lot of emotional stability if you have a lot of people who love you. Family gatherings are also more fun if there are a lot of people there, and they can even be like a party. Sometimes small gatherings have the potential to be awkward if there are arguments or conflicts.
Part3 (3/4)
What role do grandparents play in a family?
The main role of grandparents is to spoil their grandchildren throughout their childhood! Grandparents should be there to nurture their young relatives and to help look after them. As children grow up, they can develop a very close bond with their grandparents, whose role is to offer advice and support.
Part3 (4/4)
Which are more important: family or friends?
Although friendships are very special to me, I think family is more important. My ties with my siblings are unbreakable and the close bond I have with my parents is stronger and more stable than my relationships with friends. My family have played a vital role in my upbringing and have made me the person that I am today. I respect my parents for that and am so grateful to them.
