You recently organised an all-day meeting for your company, which took place in a local hotel. In their feedback, participants at the meeting said that they liked the hotel, but they were unhappy about the food that was served for lunch.
Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter
- say what the participants liked about the hotel
- explain why they were unhappy about the food
- suggest what the manager should do to improve the food in future

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing on behalf of my organisation with regards to our stay at your hotel last week on November 12th.

A large group of employees from our company stayed at your establishment last week. Generally, our overall experience as guests of your hotel was excellent. We particularly appreciated the good internet access, as well as the efficient customer service that we received.

However, it is with regret that I have to report one significant factor that left us disappointed with our stay. The quality of the hotel’s catering was far below the expected standard. Most of the food was cold as well as being unappetising.

Given the above context, I strongly recommend that the overall food safety standards in the kitchen (should) be reviewed. Not only is cold food unpleasant, but it is also dangerous.
