Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing in response to your advertisement in The Canberra Monthly yesterday.

I am so happy to find a job that is ideally suited to me and my current situation. I am currently taking a 6-month break before starting a Master’s Degree in early childhood education. I am especially interested in this position because I would very much like to have personal experience of living with an Australian family with a child.

I feel I am a good candidate for this job as I am qualified in childcare. I hold a degree in early childhood education from Siwon University, where I graduated first in my class, as noted in the attached transcript. During my education at the university, I completed 200 hours of field experience.

In my free time, I volunteer at an after-school program as an assistant teacher. When I am in Australia, I would like to continue to work with young students in order to further develop my skills and gain valuable hands-on experience in working with children. When I am not working, I would like to visit popular places in Canberra because I have always been interested in traveling and exploring new places.

My name is Carola. I have seen your advertisement in a magazine and I'm writing to you because I would like to be considered for the position you are offering. I really would like to work for you because I think it will be a good experience for you and me. I like to travel, learn about different cultures, and meet new people.

I have never been to Australia but I'm pretty sure there are a lot of things to see and try. I have previous experience looking after children. Currently, I'm working for an Irish family and I take care of children whose ages vary from three to eight.

Before, I had never thought that looking after children would be that rewarding. I enjoy spending time with them and I have learned a lot. I'm really patient, tidy, reliable, and hard-working. In addition, I have just completed a first aid course.

If I had the chance to live with your family, it would be great. I would spend my free time learning English, visiting tourist attractions, trying local food and making new friends.
