A friend you made while you were studying abroad has written to ask you for help in finding a job in your country. You have heard about a job in a local company that might be suitable for him/her. Write a letter to this friend. In your letter
- tell your friend about the job and what sort of work it involves
- say why you think the job would be suitable for him/her
- explain how to apply for the job

Dear Archie,

I hope everything is good with you. I got your email the other day, and I’m just responding to let you know about an opportunity that might suit you.

A company called Siwon, which is located in Seoul, is advertising a job vacancy for a proofreader who is fluent in English. The basic requirements of the job are attention to detail and two years of relevant experience.

I reckon this job would suit you perfectly! I know you’ve been proofreading for nearly 3 years in your hometown. I think you have a really good eye for grammar, spelling, and style.

It would be fairly simple for you to apply for this position. You just need to go online and visit Siwon’s homepage. When you scroll down the main page, you’ll see the “Job Opportunities” link right at the bottom. Once you click that, you’ll see “English Proofreader”. Submit your CV electronically, and then you’re good to go!

I’m excited to hear back from you. Let me know if you need any more help with this.

Best wishes,

Jun
