I'll not let my teacher down. 나는 우리 선생님을 실망시키지 않을거에요.
Did I disappoint you or let you down? Should I be feeling guilty or let the judges frown? 내가 당신을 실망시켰나요 낙담하게 했나요? 내가 죄책감을 느껴야 하는 걸까요, 아니면 그냥 나를 비판하도록 내버려둘까요?
3. turn out
1) 예상하지 못했는데, 결과가 그렇게 되다.
The situation turned out to be okay. (예상하지 못했는데) 상황은 괜찮게 되었다.
2) 예상하지 못하게 이런걸로 밝혀지다.
It all turned out to be a mistake. (예상하지 못했는데) 이 모든 게 실수인걸로 밝혀졌다.
Obviously, I'm disappointed at the way things have turned out. 당연히 일이 진행된 모습에 나는 실망했지.
It turns out that I was right all along. 결국, 내내 내가 옳았어(예상치 못함)

4. Long story short, 짧게 이야기하자면

5. Now that ~ ~ 이런 상황에 있으니 (새로운 상황을 설명할 때)
Now that I am in Korea, I'm gonna eat a lot of Korean food. 내가 한국에 있으니까 한국 음식을 많이 먹을거에요.

I think you take me for granted. 내 생각에 넌 나(내가 항상 여기있다고)를 당연하게 받아들이는 것 같다.
2) 의심없이, 질문없이 ~가 진실이라고 혹은 특정한 방식으로 아무 문제없이 당연히 일어날 것으로 가정하다.
You can't take it for granted that people will behave themselves. 사람들이 스스로 잘 행동할 것이라고 당연하게 여길 수는 없다.
We can't take it for granted that people will practice social distancing. 우리는 사람들이 사회적 거리두기를 잘 실천할 것이라고 아무 이유없이 가정할 수 없어요.
